Unlike other electric bike reviews, the Merlin ReportĀ gives you a complete review from first-hand experiences by a team of experts. We have engineers that are equipped with all the relevant knowledge to assess e-bikes.

They have tried out the Titan ProĀ offered by HPC Bikes. HPC Bikes have really outdone themselves with this e-bike, according to our engineers, let’s find out why.

Performance

The e-bikeĀ is a powerhouse when it comes to performance. The standard motor gives you 750 watts but you can get an upgraded one that goes up to 3000 watts. Our engineers were lucky enough to test different specifications and were able to reach speeds up to 45 miles per hour on the 3000 watts motor.

45 miles per hour is a lot of speed for an e-bike, at times, you even forget that you are riding an electric bicycle. The speed is easily handled by the fat tires as they offer a great road grip that promotes stability at high speeds.

Comfort

For a bike that is really big and powerful, it is more comfortable than one would expect it to be. Moreover, the pedal-assist and torque are so powerful that you do not even need to pedal. Even the slightest pressure on the pedal lets you take off on this e-bike.

Moreover, as you have a wider grip on the road because of the tires, your weight is distributed easily and that makes for a comfortable ride. The only inconvenience is the battery as our engineers were able to drain it in an hour. However, you should expect that with so much power and size.

Appearance

Appearance-wise this has been one of our engineer’s favorite e-bike. The fat bulky tires are beautifully complimented with sleek tubes. The tires have custom printing that brings out a ā€˜racing’ vibe.

When you look at the e-bikeĀ for the first time, you can easily confuse it with a dirt bike. You also have a range of colors to choose from; orange, matte black, gloss white, or custom colors. We really liked the matte black version.

Price

The Titan ProĀ starts at $6,995 and can go over $12,000 if you buy the fully upgraded version. Let’s see if the electric bike is worth the money:

Performance 4.5 out of 5
Comfort 3.5 out of 5
Appearance 4 out of 5
Price 3 out of 5
Total 15 out of 20

The Titan ProĀ is much better than the average electric bike but it surely is expensive. However, it offers unparalleled power and that is what the money is for.

If you want an electric bike that is a monster when it comes to performanceĀ and money is not that big of a concern, then this is the electric bike for you. It is one of the best performers available in the market today.

You can also invest in a larger battery to avoid charging issues.

If performanceĀ matters then we recommend you to try the Titan ProĀ at least once. Trust us, you will go crazy over it!
